'BLAME IT ON ME' PROP ANALYSIS
"The garden was blessed by the Gods of me and you
We headed west to find ourselves some truth, ooh"
"We counted all our reasons, excuses that we made
We found ourselves some treasure, and threw it all away"
As George begins to sing the song we see him beginning to walk down a road drinking from an disposable cup. We watch as he then chuck the cup behind him. As the song goes on it comes more apparent that he is talking about a relationship. By throwing the disposable cup away it may show how in the raleationship he was careless and he threw it all away by somehow doing something that he should'nt of done. The song goes on to "we headed west to find ourselves some truth". Heading west traditionally means where you go to find freedom. So if he is speaking about him and whoever he is in a relationship with going west to find themelves and what has happened in the relationship.
During 'We found ourselves ourselves some treasure, and threw it all way' some gold glitter drops from the sky onto George, suggesting it was bird poo.
