How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
Above is a clip from the music video, a picture from te inside of the digipak and the finished magazine article. As you can see above all the images are pratically the same creating aprt of my brand identiy. All the photographs and the filming where taken in the same place at the same time at the studio location in order to have this continuing brand identity and house style across all of the products.
Above is the titles used across all three products. The fonts used for the digipak and magazine advert are exactly the same used in photoshop. However the font used in the mmusic video is different. The font used for the title of the song 'Who I am' is very similar. With the loose hand written style. This is again creating the brand identity between the products which is important for audiences to make links. Although the artist name doesnt follow the same type of brand identity I believe tha it is okay as essentially the ancillary tasks arent just for the Who I am Video but part of an album so therefore everything doesnt need to be exactly the same to create the brand identity links can already be made.
Both ancillary asks follow the same idea of overlaying another image. The conventional input of tree fits in with the indie genre. The overlay on the magazine advert is actually part of the locatio where we filmed in Cambridge.
