Mumford & Sons- Sigh No More

The style of the magazine represents the Indie Folk genre. The images have a vintage filter/effect this links in well with the aesthetic for the genre. The images have also been represented almost likened to a polaroid photograph. This is a trend which is now very popular in todays culture. The texts font is known as being quite a traditional/simple font. Creating an 'Old English' fashioned look. The black background keeps the images and text in focus and the whole look of the advert simple. The lighter colour of the text contrasts well with this making it clear to see and creating a balance between light and dark. This is commonly seen throughout the indie folk genre.

The location of the images link to the artists music videos and conventions used throughout the genre. Including their instruments again represents this.
