MUSIC CHANNELS
When I researched into the three music channels I went on to each of the channels sites and found timetabels of what was on that day. Both VIVA and MTV which are both popular channels for people to listen to music on. MTV air an Ofiicial UK Top 20 at nine in the morning and VIVA also air an Officail UK Top 40 at the same time. Whereas 4Musics channel does'nt start until 10.30 where they just show one of there own 'Morning Mix' of songs.
MTV has many sub channels including all the ones above. MTV was first launched on the first on August 1981. Watch the first episode above. MTV is a 24-hour general entertainment channel operated by Viacom International Media Networks Europe, available in the United Kingdom and Ireland. MTV is mainly aimed at teenagers and young adults.

4Music is a music and entertainment channel in the United Kingdom and available on some digital television providers in the Republic of Ireland. The channel launched on 15 August 2008, replacing The Hits. It is the only Channel 4-branded channel within the Box Television network.
