A "one-shot" is any music video which consists of action, continuous in time and space, from the perspective of a single camera— a single long take. In order to be able to make one shot videos several special techniques are used. Most commonly the stage props which are not currently caught on cameras are changed during the shot. One of the most famous music video directors for this genre is Michel Gondry, who has done many of his videos in this style. Kiesza’s music video for 'Hideaway' was filmed in one take on a Brooklyn sidewalk, and features the ex-Navy member dancing her way between cabs. The original music video for The Lazy Song done in one take. However Bruno Mars made an entertaining alternate version of "The Lazy Song" video. Instead of taking action in front of the lenses, the crooner passes the spot to famed actor Leonard Nimoy, alias Star Trek's original Mr Spock.
