When me and my group where searching for an artist we managed to find two female artists. One of which lives in America and we found on youtube. The other is a local singer that writes her own original songs. With using Tori Kelly who is signed to Capitol Records we have the advantage of having access to a good quality copy of her original song by using youtube converter. However even though we have contacted her to use the song; she may not reply, give permission or at a later date could be taken down from youtube due to copyright reasons. The other alternative of using Meg Okell, who we know personally it is easier for us to get permission to use one of her original songs. If she agrees depending on what she is happy to do it gives us scope to: get her to record the song in better quality, for us to record the song with her and if she has the time to be used in the video.
